JOIN US FOR MOVIE NIGHT!

HENDERSON, Ky. – Henderson Community College (HCC) invites the public to enjoy a fun-filled evening under the stars during its “Summer on the Hill” Movie Night on Saturday, June 7, in the Sullivan Technology Center (STC) courtyard on campus.

This free community event will celebrate the 40th anniversary of The Goonies with movie-themed activities beginning at 6 p.m., followed by an outdoor showing of the movie at dusk.

“Summer on the Hill” will include:

  • Free snacks including popcorn, sno cones, and drinks
  • Food available for purchase from the HGQ food truck
  • Goonies-themed adult activities, including a treasure hunt, costume contest, and trivia contest

A limited number of chairs will be provided; guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets for comfort. In the event of rain, the movie and activities will be relocated to the Preston Arts Center on the HCC campus.

“We’re excited to welcome families, alumni, and movie lovers of all ages to campus for a night of fun and nostalgia,” said HCC officials.

This event is sponsored by Brenntag and Field & Main Bank.
