Proud to be an HCC parent

Welcome to the Henderson Community College family. With your support and our student-focused resources, your student will build a firm educational foundation for a fulfilling, successful career.

Consult the Academic Calendar to prepare for the start of classes, vacations, and final exams. Familiarize yourself with the academic resources and student services that will help your student reach his or her highest potential. And don't forget the Job Services Office, an invaluable resource for career planning and job hunting.

Your student's safety and comfort are our number one priority. We work hard to create a campus environment that's free from threatening behavior or intimidating speech. Please consult our security protocols and make sure to register for the SNAP emergency notification service.

If you received a Pell Grant for fall and/or spring you may be eligible for additional grant funds for the summer term. Students with a remaining portion from fall or spring (not enrolled full-time in both terms) will receive the grant at all enrollment levels. The grant can be received for one or more classes. If you have exhausted your eligibility (full-time for both fall and spring), you must be enrolled at least half-time (6 credit hours) to receive the grant. Students must also meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards, and be taking classes that count towards their program of study.
