FREE CONCERT ON THURSDAY, JUNE 27th!
HENDERSON, Ky. – Harpist Emily Fife will present a free concert on June 27 at 6 p.m. at the Preston Arts Center on the campus of Henderson Community College. This “On the Stage” performance will allow the audience to be on the McCormick Hall stage with the artist for a unique and intimate musical experience.
Fife is a Henderson native who has been playing the harp for 30 years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in music management, and a master’s degree in public service administration, from the University of Evansville. Emily plays an ebony Lyon & Healy Concert Grand Pedal Harp and a Lyon & Healy Prelude Lever Harp.
“It’s not often that the audience gets such up-close access to the artist during a concert performance,” said Director of Program Facilitation for the Preston Arts Center Stacey Howell. “We’re very excited that Emily is returning to her hometown to share her musical talents.”
