Office of the President

Welcome to Henderson Community College (HCC), where I am privileged and honored to serve as the Interim President and Chief Executive Officer! HCC students represent some of the highest achieving, talented, and engaged students from across the Commonwealth. We are tremendously proud of our students and their achievements, and together, take the academic and professional journey that positively shapes futures within our community and beyond.

We consistently strive to make HCC the College of first choice for students throughout our three county service region. Innovative and relevant academic and training programs help prepare our students for success in the workforce, and in their pursuit of advanced degrees. At HCC, we are committed to providing our students with high quality instruction and holistic academic and student support services. We work to build lasting and meaningful relationships with our students and community, who are central to everything we do. Our students are at the heart of the HCC family, and with us, take the academic and professional journey that positively shapes their lives and futures.

HCC works with students and helps them to develop as self-aware, globally cognizant, community-oriented, productive, and intelligent individuals. After graduation, HCC students go on to be successful in their pursuit of advanced degrees or enter the workforce as accomplished professionals.

HCC takes great pride in being an integral member of our community and profoundly appreciates the community’s broad and deep support. When communities partner with higher education institutions, a powerful association and synergy is forged.

The College's premier faculty are widely recognized as leaders in their disciplines, providing creative and meaningful learning experiences that are representative of the finest instruction and scholarship in contemporary postsecondary education. HCC's dedicated staff helps provide a supportive collegiate environment that contributes to the intellectual, personal, and professional growth of students.

The College's commitment to students and community remains strong and steadfast. HCC works to ensure that our students receive a premier education, are prepared to seek additional education, or successfully enter the workforce, while growing into confident, curious, critical, self-reliant, and independent thinkers.
