FYE EXCEPTIONS

FYE EXCEPTIONS AT HENDERSON COMMUNITY COLLEGE:

1. Readmit student with a GPA greater than 2.0 and 15 credit hours earned or more. 
2. Transfer student (outside KCTCS) with a GPA greater than 2.0 and 15 credit hours earned or more. 
3. Student who changes from AAS to AA/AS with a GPA greater than 2.0 and 15 credit hours earned or more. 
4. Student with a double major, such as AA/AS and AAS, (for example, pre-nursing) who earns their AAS before or at the same time as the AA/AS.
5. Transfer student (outside KCTCS) with 9 or more college credits that include that institution's orientation/FYE credit (1-3 credits) with a GPA greater than 2.0. 
6. Any student from a different KCTCS school with 15 college-level credits or more, excluding dual credit. 
7. Early College Academy students who successfully complete the ECA seminar series.
