How to Apply
Applying to HCC’s dual-credit program is easy, and we’re here to help. Just follow these steps:
- Submit the Application for Admission. It’s free, and it only takes about 15 minutes to complete.
- Submit your scores from the ACT or SAT. If you haven’t taken either test, you can take placement tests instead.
- Complete a Dual Credit parent/student packet. Be sure to sign the forms, along with your high school counselor and a parent or
guardian.
- Sign up for courses! Contact your guidance counselor first to find out when your Parent/Student meeting will be for the upcoming school year. At this meeting you will register and complete all necessary forms to enroll in the Dual Credit program at HCC. If you sign-up after the Parent/Student meeting you will need to make arrangements with your guidance counselor to get the detailed information. Classes usually are first come first bases, so don’t wait!
