February 26th, 2019 10 am to 2 pm Student Center by Joe's place Brescia University will have computers set up so students can apply for free. Henderson Community College will provide students with free official transcripts during this time. Students will be able to apply, be accepted, have transfer credits evaluated and receive a draft schedule all in one meeting! Student can also speak to a financial aid representative! Rotary Club of Henderson will give out $5,000 in five, $1,000 scholarships in April of 2018. The scholarships are based both on current academic success and need. Applicants should be graduating high school seniors or college students who live or attend school in Henderson, Kentucky, who have a record of successful high school work and/or college work and who will be applying to any accredited two-year community/technical college or four-year university. Students must demonstrate a need for additional funding to complete their programs of study.

Swing Into Spring: 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Staff will be available to help students with various processes such as completing an admission application for the college, discussing financial aid, and scheduling placement testing. Students are asked to visit the Start Center, located on the second floor of the Sullivan Technology Center (STC). Cocoa with Transfer & Career Services: This Thursday, February 7th, Transfer and Career Services will be hosting an event to provide students with transfer advice and help in their career/job search! Stop by the Cyber Café on the first floor of the STC Building from 10-11:30AM! Advice (and hot cocoa) will be free to HCC students who attend!

Award winning photographer Joel Sartore has been capturing images of endangered species in his photography project titled The Photo Ark. This National Geographic exhibit will be on display at the Preston Arts Center from January 25- March 15 every Wednesday- Saturday 10 am- 2 pm. This exhibit is free and open to the public.
