HCC PRESIDENTIAL SEARCH NARROWED TO THREE

The HCC presidential screening committee has recommended three finalists to KCTCS President, Dr. Jay Box. On-campus interviews have been scheduled.  
 
The finalists are:
  • Dr. John McMoy, college dean, Wallace State Community College, Hanceville, Alabama
  • Dr. Shannon Kennedy, executive vice president, Cleveland Community College, Shelby, North Carolina
  • Dr. Jason Warren, chief Student Affairs officer, Hopkinsville Community College, Hopkinsville, Kentucky
During their visit, candidates will meet with faculty, staff, students, the board of directors and local leaders. The public will also have an opportunity to meet the candidates. Forums are scheduled as follows:  
 
Wednesday, December 19

Dr. John McMoy
7:30 - 8:30 a.m. - Community forum
10 - 11 a.m. - student/faculty/staff forum
 
Dr. Shannon Kennedy
8:45 - 9:45 a.m. - Community forum
11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. - student/faculty/staff forum
 

Thursday, December 20

Dr. Jason Warren
7:30 - 8:30 a.m. - Community forum
8:45-9:45 - student/faculty/staff forum
 
Community forums and student/faculty/staff forums will be held at the Preston Arts Center - Stagg Room. You are invited to attend the forums and comment cards will be available so your feedback can be considered.
