HCC BOOKSTORE UPDATES

Above is a printout that Jessica with Barnes & Noble has created that can be given to students on how to order their textbooks online. Below is a message from Jessica:

"This method of online ordering will get us through this semester. For Summer classes, we will be able to have students come directly to the temporary bookstore location to buy books, as by this time we will have better functionality from that space.

Payment Methods: For next week, we will be running out temporary location as CASH ONLY. In the coming weeks we will be getting a mobile POS unit to expand our functionality and once that is setup, we will be able to accept debit/credit cards and checks once again. Once this happens we'll let everyone know.

Bookstore Hours: Because we have to get our cash from the old store every morning and go back into the old store each afternoon to upload sales and lock up the cash drawer in our safe, we are slightly modifying our hours to accommodate this.  Bookstore hours beginning 2/3/2020 will be Monday through Thursday 9am to 3:30pm and Friday 9am to noon. We will be closed from 11:30 to noon for lunch.

We are officially calling this our Temporary Bookstore Location. We plan to create custom signage to place outside of the Student Center directing students to our new location, as well as a sign to put in the hallway outside our temporary location. I'm describing it as the "ground floor" of the A/T building, as I felt is was most descriptive, but if you prefer us to say 1st floor we can easily do that."
