HCC ADDS THREE TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS

HENDERSON, Ky. – The College Foundation, Inc. recently announced the appointment of three new board members effective July 1, 2024. The College Foundation, Inc. supports Henderson Community College's (HCC) mission by raising funds and awareness throughout the community.

The new board members are: 

Stephen ArnettStephen Arnett graduated from HCC in 1973 and later earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky, and a law degree from the University of Louisville. 

He has practiced law in Morganfield, KY since 1980.

Arnett and his wife Dianne have three adult children and eight grandchildren.
 

Lindsay DurbinLindsay Durbin was born and raised in Poole, KY.  Lindsay transitioned from a background in accounting and the utility industry to become a practicing attorney in Dixon, KY.

With a strong foundation in business and finance from her studies at HCC and the University of Southern Indiana, Lindsay completed her Juris Doctor from Syracuse University. 

Durbin and her husband Jeremy have five children.

 

Brian NewmanBrian Newman obtained an Associate of Science degree from HCC in 1996. At HCC, he served as president of the Student Government Association.

Newman continued his education at Western Kentucky University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Business and a Master of Science degree in Agronomy.

He is currently Vice President, Commercial Banking for German American Bank serving Western Kentucky from the Henderson, KY, location.  

He lives on his family farm in the Zion/Niagara area of Henderson County.

Board Chair Jinger Carter. “I’m excited to begin my term as board chair and delighted to continue stewardship of the resources those before us established.”
