June 14 - Last day to file an application for August credential (certificate, diploma or degree) in the Admissions & Records Office (STC Start Center). June 26 - Last day to withdraw and receive a 50% tuition refund and last day to withdraw at the student's discretion without the instructor's signature and receive a "W" grade (8-week classes). Note: In order for students to withdraw from a course, students must utilize the Online Withdrawal Process in Student Self-Service/PeopleSoft. June 29 - Last day to apply and register for 4-week summer classes beginning July 2. July 4 - Independence Day, College Closed. July 5 - Summer term financial aid refunds will be processed.

There are several options for tutoring over the summer: Need in-person help? LIB Library faculty and staff are available during the week, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. You may want to call first to ensure access to a person in the area of study you need (270. 831-9767). Online Help: Two great free resources are Learning Express Library, which includes tutorials, practice tests and eBooks for all ages along with skill building in reading, writing, math and basic science and college and career practice tests (ACT, SAT, etc.). Another resource is the Khan Academy, which allows you to learn anything free online. Henderson County Residents also have access to Tutor.com, live tutoring help online between 2-11 p.m. with their library card and pin. See the website for more information.

If you received a Pell Grant for fall and/or spring you may be eligible for additional grant funds for the summer term! Students with a remaining portion from fall or spring (not enrolled full-time in both terms) will receive the grant at all enrollment levels. The grant can be received for one or more classes. If you have exhausted your eligibility (full-time for both fall and spring), you must be enrolled at least half-time (6 credit hours) to receive the grant.

HCC celebrated success with the graduating class of 2018 on Friday, May 4th. A total of 118 Associate degrees, six diplomas, and 158 certificates for a total of 282 credentials to 168 graduates was awarded.
