FALL COMMENCEMENT SCHEDULED FOR DEC. 13

HENDERSON, Ky. – Henderson Community College (HCC) will celebrate its fall graduates during a commencement ceremony on Friday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m. at the Preston Arts Center on the HCC campus.
HCC Associate Registrar Tammie Zuber reports that 192 students have applied for 230 credentials, including 86 two-year degrees, 136 certificates, and eight diplomas. Approximately 70 students are expected to participate in the commencement ceremony.
The ceremony will include remarks by three students: Jo Douglas (Associate of Arts), Luke Mullins (Agriculture), and Amy Scales (Nursing). In addition, the HCC Board of Directors will announce the 2024 Distinguished Alumni Award winner during the event.
"HCC's faculty and staff are thrilled to celebrate our students' hard work and dedication as they achieve this important milestone," said Dr. Chad Phillips, Chief Student Affairs Officer and Registrar. "These accomplishments reflect their perseverance and commitment, and we are proud to have been part of their journey. We look forward to seeing their impact as they pursue their goals."
The commencement ceremony will also be livestreamed on the HCC Facebook page.
