HCC VIRTUAL COMMENCEMENT 2020
Fall 2020 Graduates
Congratulations on reaching an important milestone as a member of the Henderson Community College Class of 2020! We are so proud of you!
We want to honor you and your accomplishment. Unfortunately, the pandemic currently prevents us from holding an in-person ceremony. So we plan to celebrate with you in creative ways until we can gather for a traditional Commencement event.
We applaud you for completing your credential, celebrate your achievement, and recognize your resilience, adaptability and persistence. We desire to acknowledge all that you had to overcome to reach your academic goal. Perhaps you are the first in your immediate family to earn a college credential? Perhaps you accomplished your educational goal while working, supporting a family, or balancing other challenging circumstances.
In the meantime, please know that while we have not yet held our regular Commencement ceremony, we still plan to hold an in-person celebration for all students who graduated in Spring, Summer or Fall 2020 in the Spring of 2021, and we will keep you posted as those details materialize.
We are proud of you and so glad you have reached this milestone in your life. Thank you for choosing Henderson Community College!
All the best,
Jason Warren, PhD
President
