Sign up for our Adult Education programs to earn a GED, build essential job skills, prepare for placement testing, and a get a fresh start on a new, more fulfilling career.

Students of all ages can register for Community Education classes to launch a new hobby, stay in shape, learn new computer software, and brush up on professional skills.

If you own a local business, HCC instructors can come to your office or manufacturing facility to train your employees in advanced job skills like industrial maintenance technology, Lean Simulations, and ISO standards.

SACSCOC Compliance Report

HCC s compliance report has been submitted to SACSCOC and is now available for review by the public. To access the report please go to and click on Reaffirmation of Accreditation located in the gray toolbar on the top left of the screen. This will bring you to the Compliance Report tab. You may click on the number for each section to review HCC s response to that section. The supporting documentation items are not available without a user id and password. If you feel you need access to the supporting documentation please submit your request to Dr. Reneau Waggoner.

West Area Health Education Center (AHEC) in partnership with the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and the Henderson Community College Dental Hygiene/Dental Assisting program are providing a free Children's Dental Clinic for children ages 5-17. The clinic can provide dental exams, cleanings, x-rays, fluoride treatment, sealants and some restorative services as deemed necessary.
