"The ONB Foundation is focused on developing partnerships with organizations in our communities that are dedicated to leveraging funding opportunities that impact areas of greatest need. We are proud to partner with educational institutions, like Henderson Community College, that strengthen our communities through initiatives with meaningful impact and measurable outcomes," states Baas

Krampe echoed Baas s statement and added, ONB recognizes the need for a strong educational institution within the community and with the success of BuildSmart, HCC can continue to provide better opportunities for students, faculty and the community.

Among targeted improvements to the HCC campus through the BuildSmart campaign are infrastructure upgrades, classroom enhancements and safety initiatives across campus, including renovations to the Library and Fine Arts Center. The scope of the improvements would expand the college's role as an economic development partner, serving a range of businesses and industries with skilled workers, expanding the economy, and helping to improve the quality of life for students and their families.
