Intro to Geocaching

Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location. To participate in this class, you will need to wear comfortable shoes that you are o.k. with getting dirty, a jacket and a smart phone that has GPS features or a hand-held GPS. Children ages 8 and up are welcome to participate. This fun opportunity is scheduled for Saturday, March 8th 10:00 noon or Saturday, April 5th 10:00 noon, cost is $15 per person and will meet in Room 310, Sullivan Technology Center, Henderson Community College main campus.
