DENTAL HYGIENE GRADUATES ACHIEVE 100% PASS RATE
All of the 2015 Henderson Community College (HCC) dental hygiene graduates achieved 100% pass rate on the National Dental Hygiene Board Examination (NDHBE). Dental hygiene licensure requirements in the U.S require that all dental hygiene graduates complete the national board exam, administered by the Joint Commission on National Dental Examiners of the American Dental Association.
The exam is a standardized test to evaluate the preparedness of the students for the study and practice of dental hygiene. HCC program graduates have consistently achieved a 100% pass rate on the exam. The program is a selective admissions programs and only accepts 12 students per year with 6 students at HCC and 6 students at the satellite site located on the campus of West Kentucky Community amp; Technical College (WKCTC)
Kim Dean, Dental Hygiene Program Coordinator states, I believe that the consistent pass rates that our graduates achieve on the National Dental Hygiene Board Examination demonstrates the quality of the education they are receiving, the quality of the program, and the commitment to student learning that our faculty strive to teach
HCC Dental Hygiene Program will host a pre-admission conference for Fall 2016 students on November 18, 2015 and January 20, 2016 on the campus of HCC in the AT Building room 108 at 4:00 PM. Please contact Karen Guess for further questions at (270) 831-9708
