Kentucky Adult Education
Henderson Community College's mission of the Kentucky Adult Education program is to help adults learn to read, write, and speak in English and to compute and solve problems at the level each individual needs to function on the job, in college, and in society.
Our vision is to facilitate learning so that all adult students will learn to their capabilities and the necessary skills to be effective family members, citizens, and workers.
We offer free of charge to the citizens of Henderson County:
- Resources for improving basic employment skills-reading, writing, and mathematics
- Skill assessment
- TABE testing and remediation
- English as a Second Language
- Academic Skills
- GED preparation

La misión del programa Kentucky Adult Education U de Henderson Community College es
ayudar a los adultos a aprender a leer, escribir y hablar en inglés y a calcular y
resolver problemas en el nivel que cada individuo necesita para funcionar en el trabajo,
en la universidad y en la sociedad.
Nuestra visión es facilitar el aprendizaje para que todos los alumnos aprendan a sus capacidades y las habilidades necesarias para ser miembros efectivos de la familia, ciudadanos y trabajadores.
Ofrecemos de forma gratuita a los ciudadanos del condado de Henderson:
- Recursos para mejorar las habilidades laborales básicas: lectura, escritura y matemáticas
- Evaluación de habilidades
- Pruebas y remediación de TAB
- Inglés como segundo idioma
- Habilidades académicas
- Preparación para el GED y GED +
