About the Program
Henderson Community College's CIT program leads to an Associate in Applied Science degree that prepares you for entry-level positions in various specialties or to transfer to a four-year college. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects openings in the Computer and Information Technology industry to increase by 22 percent, adding 758,800 new jobs by 2020. They expect the demand for workers in these occupations to be needed for developing software, increasing cybersecurity, and updating existing network infrastructure.
