HONORS PROGRAM The Honors Program at Henderson Community College is both a two-year academic program and a student organization with the mission to assist students to realize their academic ability and to see the value of servant leadership. Associate in Arts Evan Chaney Evan Chaney is graduating this year from the Honors Program with an Associate in Arts degree. The Honors Program faculty admire both his drive to succeed in his classes and his wide ranging interests. Evans plans to continue his education with a major in sign language. Congratulations Evan. Associate in Science Armand Zedric Greenwell Armand Zedric Greenwell is also graduating from the Honors Program this year. Zedric is completing his Associate in Science degree and has also completed a Certificate in Computer Information Systems. I have particularly enjoyed traveling with Zedric to several different Honors Round Table Conferences across the state over the last two years. Congratulations Zedric. Associate in Arts James Parker Pritchett James Parker Pritchett is another student of the Honors Program who is graduating this year. Parker is completing an Associate in Arts degree but his academic ability has been noted by the entire HCC math faculty. He has also been a work study student who will be greatly missed by the Hartfield Library staff. Congratulations Parker. Associate in Science Alaina Inge Alaina Inge will be graduating from the Honors Program with an Associate in Science Degree. She is an upbeat person who has become even more upbeat since she discovered that she wants to teach math in middle and high school. She will pursue that goal at Murray State University. Congratulations Alaina. Associate in Arts Paul Daly Paul Daly will be graduating from the Honors Program this year with an Associate in Arts degree. Paul has been a leader in program both in the classroom and in projects outside the classroom. He plans to transfer to the University of Kentucky where he will pursue a major in linguistics. Congratulations Paul. Honors Program Friends Haley Preston, Kaitlin Green and Isaac Thatcher Three graduating students deserve acknowledgement for their participation in Honors Program classes and activities. Haley Preston, Kaitlin Green and Isaac Thatcher have been excellent students who have made the Honors Program even better for the last two years. Good luck to Haley, Kaitlin and Isaac. Honors Program Student of the Year Paul Daly Each year the faculty of the Honors Program Committee select one student to be designated Honors Program Student of the Year. That student is selected on his or her intellectual ability as well as service and leadership contributions to the program and the college. The deserving student selected this year is Paul Daly who has impressed faculty in the classroom and contributed to the college as president of student government association and member of the Phi Theta Kappa. Congratulations Paul.
