General Excellence 
It is my pleasure to recognize Henderson Community College�s General Excellence recipient. 
General excellence award is Henderson Community College�s top academic honor. 
The recipient is selected by the entire faculty for his or her accomplishments. The student selected must have at least sophomore standing and exemplify the qualities of scholarship, service, and leadership. The two-thousand and twenty (2020) recipient was nominated by three (3) HCC faculty members they noted: 
I have known the recipient through CROSS. He is an active member and very involved in his local church community. His character exemplifies a student who should receive this award. He is willing to reach out and help others often tutoring or assistance to his classmates. 
The mathematics faculty echoed this sentiments. Noting that this student is one the best student she has taught in her entire teaching career. The recipient�s strong work ethic allowed him to excel inside and outside the classroom.
