I have the opportunity to present the awards for Outstanding Agriculture students this evening. The outstanding student this year in Agriculture is Jeston Stone. Jeston has been an excellent student in the agriculture program with a high GPA. He is currently working at Nutrigen here in Henderson and Jeston is graduating with his Associate in Applied Science degree in Agriculture, emphasis in Agronomy. The Hoffman Scholarship for Agriculture this time goes to a young man from Dixon, Kentucky and his name is Will Leslie. Will is a first year student in the Agriculture program and took several dual-credit classes and got a head start on his education. Will is on track to graduate next school year and is a major player in the operation of his family farm. Congratulations to both of these students.
