Henderson Community College is seeking applicants for part-time faculty positions in the following areas: Art, Biology, Chemistry, Communications, Developmental Math and Writing, Early Childhood Education, English, Foreign Language, History, Industrial Maintenance, Computer and Information Technology, Math, Music, Nursing (LPN and RN), Philosophy, Sociology, Technical Math, Welding, and Library Services. Teaching assignments will be in the day and evening at on-campus and off-campus locations in Henderson and Union Counties and on-line.

Applications are also being sought for a part-time instructional specialist in nursing.

Applications are also being sought for a Medicaid Nurse Aide part-time instructor.

Positions in Art, Biology, Chemistry, Communications, Early Childhood Education, English, Foreign Language, History, Introduction to Computers, Math, Music, Philosophy, and Psychology require a Master s degree in the teaching discipline or a master s degree that includes at least 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline.

Positions in Developmental Math and Writing and Technical Math require a Bachelor s degree in the teaching discipline, a related discipline, or education.

Positions in CIT, Industrial Maintenance, and Welding require an associate or Bachelor s degree and appropriate professional certification and/or industrial experience.

Positions in Nursing require a BSN, an MSN is preferred, and appropriate licensure.

Previous teaching experience is preferred for all faculty positions.

The HCC Tech Day is a half-day event to educate anyone interested in our IMT and AMT programs. AMT is HCC's newest company-sponsored program that offers scholarships, work in a paid sponsor company, and utilizes classroom knowledge to gain work experience in the field while getting an HCC degree.
