Henderson Community College is hosting a viewing party Thursday for the premiere of the new NBC television sitcom “Community.”
“Community” centers around the fictional Greendale Community College and stars Joel McHale and Chevy Chase.
The event will begin at 8 Thursday evening in the Stagg Room at the Henderson Fine Arts Center. The television program begins at 8:30 p.m.
“This new show is very timely with the national spotlight that’s focused on the community college,” said Patrick Lake, HCC president. “Our two-year colleges play a key role in helping to transform the lives of our students, community, local workforce and employers.”
Everyone is invited to attend. There will be refreshments and door prizes.
