COMPASS Placement Testing

COMPASS is a computerized exam used to determine your skill level in reading, English, and math to place students in appropriate classes. Find out if you need to take COMPASS.

COMPASS is by appointment only. Contact Lindsey Greer at 270-831-9772 or at for more information. You may also fax student copies of test scores to the testing coordinator at 270-831-9612, though official ACT scores will need to be on file in the Admissions Office.

Proctoring

The testing center is available to proctor exams. This is free for all KCTCS classes. For non-KCTCS classes, a $25 fee will apply.
