Cooperative Education is offered by Henderson Community College to prepare students for entry and advancement in their area of study. Through co-op students can earn possible college credit and gain valuable work experience at the same time. Students who have earned a minimum of 12 credit hours in either the Computer information Technology or Business Administration Associate in Applied Science programs are eligible to participate. Co-op is a partnership involving the student, the employer and HCC. Paid and unpaid internships may also be options for students depending on their program of study.
Often students are uncertain about their academic major and needing to talk to individuals working in the field of their interest. If you would be interested in allowing a student to job shadow or schedule an informational interview to ask questions concerning your occupational area, please contact Angie Watson or the HCC Career Services department at 270-831-9671
