Please visit the KCTCS PeopleSoft Self-Service online system to view and accept or decline your awards. This is a secure process. Once completed, your financial aid award will be automatically updated.
Financial Aid refunds are normally issued to your preferred refund method as indicated on you HigherOne account the next Thursday after 30 days from the start of the standard term. This is due to funds being disbursed to KCTCS 30 days after the start of the term. While the following Thursday is typically when refunds are applied to student accounts and issued to HigherOne, it can depend on your preferred method of refund as to when those funds are actually available to you. Please contact HCC Financial Aid Office with any questions regarding your refund date.
As calculated by the HCC Financial Aid Office your financial aid package may consist of Federal/State Grants, Federal Student Loans, awarded Scholarships and/or Federal Work Study. All aid was determined by the information you provided on your FAFSA. Consumer Information can be viewed online.
