A 2007 graduate of Henderson Community College and a 2009 graduate of Murray State University, Caitlin Conley is currently teaching in McLean County. When asked why she chose to complete the two plus two program, a partnership between HCC and Murray State University, she cited convenience as her number one reason. "I could take classes anytime during the day or in the evening and also online," she said. She says that this flexibility made Henderson Community College the right choice for her.
Caitlin was also impressed with the personal attention she received from instructors in the program from both Henderson and Murray State. "All of my professors were very understanding and accommodating. If I needed extra help, they were available and willing to help in whatever way they could."
Caitlin's future plans include pursuing a master's degree in elementary education from University of the Cumberlands through their online program. She loves working with children and plans to continue the career that began at Henderson Community College.
