Kyndle offers Entrepreneurship Boot Camp at HCC

Kyndle is offering an Entrepreneurship Boot Camp Sept. 9, 16, 23, and 30th from 6-8pm at Henderson Community College.

The Boot Camp is a 4-week class series that covers topics including first steps in starting a business, how to write a business plan, financing options, and how to market your business and pitch your idea to banks, investors, etc. The cost is $25 for all 4 classes, which will be taught by the Small Business Development Center and the Innovation and Commercialization Center. Residents of Henderson, McLean, Union, and Webster Counties are eligible to enroll.

Graduates of the class will be selected to participate in the Kyndle "Fire Pit" Pitch Contest, a contest similar to ABC's tv show Shark Tank. The winner of the Fire Pit Pitch Contest will receive a small cash prize and in-kind donations to help them start their business including marketing assistance, legal work, and website design.
